Increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of business operations of trades "MDK" DEVELOPER, TRADE, SERVICES AND AGRICULTURE through the application of ICT solutions

Short description of the project

Health protection and safety at work is especially important to MDK, because employees are the greatest value of the company. In order to develop awareness of the latter about the importance of health and safety at work, MDK has implemented an OSH management system, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 45001.

The main objective of the occupational health and safety management system is zero incidents, and specific objectives include the use of vehicles without traffic accidents, the provision of accident-free services and the use of protective equipment every time they go to a construction site.

The methodology of an integrated system of quality, environmental and health and safety at work is based on a process approach, i.e. the assumption that for the efficient functioning of the organization it is necessary to identify its interconnected actions and manage them in a simple and effective way, taking into account all potential risks.

In addition to employees, who with their knowledge and experience represent the knowledge of the organization, the integrated system focuses on the positive image that the company builds with its socially and environmentally responsible business.

Project goals

The overall goal of the project is to strengthen the market position and competitiveness of entrepreneurs in Krapina-Zagorje County through investment in information and communication technology

Specific objectives that represent the purpose of the project are:

  • Procurement of modern technology (software and hardware solutions), and education of employees; 
  • Introducing new processes to meet the requirements of existing customers and acquisition of new ones.

Expected results

20% increase in sales revenues

Taking business to a higher technological level

Increase in market share and sales revenues

Increasing the number of employees and preserving existing jobs

Reduction of costs, i.e. savings on all segments of business processes in costs and time due to losses so far caused by inability to control materials, goods, stocks and costs

Increase the work efficiency of employees

Contribute to the increase of all set growth and development parameters at the level of Krapina-Zagorje County and the Republic of Croatia
