Dugave sparked a real little revolution in urban planning. During the construction, architects Ivan Čižmek, Tomislav Odak, Tomislav Bilić and Zdenko Vazdar were guided by the vision to design a quality environment for all future residents of the neighbourhood, while not forgetting the smallest detail. The construction of this settlement began in 1977, and they paid special attention to the green zones, which were quite protected from traffic. According to data from 2011, there are currently over 10,000 inhabitants living here. Dugave neighborhood is known as "city in the city", so from Matunova street 31, where this new building is located, all the necessary facilities are located within 5 minutes drive. Public transport is only a ten-minute walk away, and restaurants, cafes, health center, hospital, supermarkets, post office, gas stations, kindergarten, primary and secondary school, playground, gym, cinema and other facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of this new residential building. Many neighborhoods in Zagreb lack greenery, good infrastructure and facilities for all ages. This is not the case with Dugave.
